Abstract

The Administrator of Tokelau may prohibit importation of plant material and take other measures as set out in rule 3 to avoid the spreading of plant pests and diseases. The Director of Agriculture may for the purposes of these Regulations designate any member of the department as an inspector. Powers of inspectors are defined. An Inspector may, in accordance with any directions issued by the Director of Agriculture, destroy or otherwise dispose of any material, plant or pest in accordance with rule 8. Offences are defined.
