Abstract This Act sets forth provisions on the establishment of a Unit in the Ministry and its responsibilities and functions; powers and functions of the authorized officers of the Unit; obligations of manufacturers and importers; prohibitions relating to tobacco products; packaging and labelling requirements; and offences relating to manufacture, packaging and labelling, storage, distribution, advertising or promotion of tobacco products, and related penalties.
