Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the manufacture, sale, labelling and promotion of tobacco products. Section 1 establishes that no person shall manufacture a tobacco product that does not conform with the standards established by the regulations. The text consist of 66 sections divided into 8 Parts as follows: Tobacco products (I); Access (II); Labelling (III); Promotion (IV); Enforcement (V); Offences and punishment (VI); Agreements (VII); Consequential amendments, repeals and coming into force (VIII). One Schedule is enclosed.
