Abstract

The Tobacco Act provides the requirements for tobacco products, the sales packaging, handling and consumption thereof, and the supervision over compliance with this Act and liability for violation of this Act, with the primary purpose of ensuring the protection of human health. The document consists of 5 Chapters that contain 29 Paragraphs. Chapter 1 lays down general provisions. Chapter 2 deals with handling of tobacco products. Chapter 3 establishes requirements for smoking areas. Chapter 4 regards supervision. Chapter 41 determines liability. Chapter 5 lays down implementing provisions.
