Abstract The purpose of this Act is to regulate the production, trade and quality classification of raw tobacco and fermented tobacco leafs. The processing of raw tobacco shall be in compliance with the provisions of this Act. The producer of raw tobacco shall submit a report on the production of tobacco to the Ministry of Agriculture before 30 June of the current year. The report shall contain, besides the information on the producer, the place of growing the tobacco, type and sort of the tobacco, and number of tobacco plants. All fees as regards the analysis on the quality of tobacco shall lie with the producer. The Ministry of Agriculture is a competent authority for the management of this Act and the supervision of it lies with the Republic's inspectors for agriculture. Full text Serbian
