Abstract This regulation provides information about the registration, trading and use of pesticides in Egypt, and it is composed of 46 articles. It defines the roles and the competencies of the committee for pesticide, which are to scan through the applications for the registration of pesticides and to certify the suitable ones. According to this regulation, committees handle as well all labelling issues of pesticides. This resolution prohibits the production, processing, repacking , importing, trafficking, trading or the use of agricultural pesticides in their raw or processed form unless they are registered in the committee of pesticides at the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
