Abstract

This Act establishes guidelines for the establishment of timber-driving forest companies establishing its objectives, functions and powers. It also makes provisions for making by-laws, book-keeping, loans, shares, calls and subscriptions, expropriation, tolls and penal provisions. In particular, sections 56 specifies every such company shall, within two years from the day of its constitution as a legal person, complete the works undertaken by it. The text consists of 66 sections.
