Abstract

This Article of the Environmental Conservation Law of New York concerns tidal wetlands. It is declared to be the public policy of this state to preserve and protect tidal wetlands, and to prevent their despoliation and destruction, giving due consideration to the reasonable economic and social development of the state. Further, it provides for wetlands inventory, and program and land-use regulation for tidal wetlands.
