Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy. The Ordinance applies to the description, categorization and classification of water bodies as well as the determination of the related specific conditions. The text consists of 14 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Surface waters (II); Groundwater (III); Final provisions (IV). Nine Annexes are enclosed.
