Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Thüringen Fishery Law of 22 October 1992. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to aspects of fisheries in the Free State of Thuringia. The text consists of 32 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: Closed seasons, minimum size, fishing ban (1); Catch and release, use and marketing of fish (2); Special protective measures for fisheries (3); Fish bait, fishing gear and fishing methods (4); Electric fishing (5); Special protection of fish – attention to animal welfare (6); Fishing permit, quarterly fishing permit, fishing fees, fishing charge (7); Penalties, final provisions (8).
