Abstract

These Regulations amend the Threatened or Protected Species Regulations, 2007 in: regulation 1 by the substitution for the definition of "provincial department"; and in regulation 3 defining competences of Minister or a Member of the Executive Council as the issuing authority for permits relating to the carrying out of restricted activities involving any listed threatened or protected species. They also repeal regulation 25 (prohibited activities involving listed threatened or protected Encephulurtos species) and subregulation (3) of regulation 71 (transitional provisions).
