Abstract

An Ordinance by the Federal Minister for Agriculture and Forestry, Environment and Water Resources to limit the amount of contaminated water emission from sources existing in places difficult to reach. At the outset the Ordinance contains a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as “waste”, “domestic waste”, “disposal”, ”contaminated water”, etc. The maximum residue amounts are laid down in Annex A. In particular, article 4 deals with self-monitoring of sampling and analysis of contaminated water discharge as well as monitoring by official bodies. The Ordinance consists of 5 articles and 2 Annexes.
