The reference to Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation is substituted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. The amendment adds two objectives in section 3 relating to farm-land acquisition and protection land use right; and enactment of a law relating to farmers organization. A new section 4-A is added and section 5 relating to duties and functions of the Leading Body is amended. Further, sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 16, 20, 23, 25, 27 and 29 are amended as well. A new section 27-A requiring submission of operational report is inserted.
