Part I of the Regulations define relevant terms, including: the stock of the reserve; the digital food balance sheet, as the tool for monitoring and evaluating national food patterns and providing for food security policy interventions; financial value of food commodities; food-insecure population; scheduled agricultural produce. Part II concerns the content of the National strategic reserve; the price stabilisation of the stock; Part III concerns the appointment of the food sheet balance committee, the definition of its members and functions, including measures to improve availability and affordability of scheduled agricultural produce.
