Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister under section 228 of the Merchant Shipping Act, apply to any submersible craft which is operated in the territorial sea of Mauritius, is launched, recovered, operated or supported from a Mauritius ship, is used for trade or business purposes. Matters covered by these Regulation include: procedures for applying for a registration; issuance of certificates; penalties and contraventions.
