The Regulations provide for: inspection of the records and books of processor, importer and exporter of selected agricultural commodities; initiation of legal proceedings for the recovery of any cess and any additional sum due and not paid; offences in case of failing to pay the due cess. The attachment describes the agricultural commodities and their substitutes on which the different types of cess are imposed: variety of coffee; cocoa; spices; coconut and coconut products.
