This Act provides specific amendments to the named sections of the principal Act including consideration of goods in the warehouse in Section 34, extending time line in Section 57 and amendments on Sections 107 with regard to cash deposit. Sections 248A and 248B are added to the text as new Sections that respectively refer to writing application by the person intending to import goods; and that a Partner State shall not promote any Customs procedures, measures or trade practices that are discriminatory to persons on the grounds of gender, age or disabilities.
