Abstract

In this Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS), Maize (corn) means a grain of Zea mays L., in the Gramineae family, having hard kernels with high starch content. It is used for food, feed or raw materials for food and feed. The Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Maize applies to all production steps from cultivating to post-harvest handling at farm level.
