Abstract

The Act refers to Pitcairn as a Dominion of the United Kingdom and relates to the trial of offences committed on the sea "within a certain distance of the coast of Her Majesty's Dominion". A definition of Territorial Waters is given in section 7. Offences committed by foreigners on board of ships within the territorial sea shall be an offence with the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.
