The scope of this Technical Regulation shall be protection of human life, health and environment with a view of prevention of fraudulent practices. It shall be applicable to milk and dairy products released on market on the territory of Eurasian Economic Union. It establishes mandatory requirements for classification and identification of milk and dairy products. Milk and dairy products shall be traded on the territory of member states in case of compliance thereof with this Technical Regulation. Milk and dairy products originating from third countries or processed on the territory of member states that is subject to veterinary inspection shall be accompanied by veterinary certificate issued by the competent authority of a member state. Milk and dairy products complying with the requirements of this Technical Regulation and that have passed assessment test shall be marked with the unified Eurasian Conformity mark.
