Abstract

An Act to execute an Agreement between the Commonwealth and the State of Tasmania relating to a forestry programme for the: (a) establishment of an eucalypt plantation on waste farmland owned by the State or the Crown; (b) reforestation and rehabilitation of eucalyptus forests in the West Coast region of the State; (c) thinning of blackwood regeneration in the North-west region of the State. The Commonwealth grants financial assistance to the State in the form of loans. (4 sections and a Schedule containing the Agreement)
