Abstract This Act, consisting of 145 sections divided into fifteen Chapters and completed by two Schedules, aims to make provision for advancing the Public Health of the State of Tamil Nadu, including every foodstuff consumed or used by man, for food, drink, or chewing, and all materials used or admixed in the composition or preparation of such article and also include flavouring, colouring and condiments.
