These Regulations shall enter into force on 28 February 2005.
Abstract

By way of implementation of the provisions contained in Directives 94/35/EC and 95/31/EC, these Regulations lay down rules applicable to sweeteners for use in foodstuffs, giving particular regard to criteria of purity to be met by such sweeteners. The Regulations cover sweeteners which are used in the preparation of foodstuffs to impart a sweet taste to such products, or as table top sweeteners.
