Abstract

Regulations to make provision for the granting of survey licences and to regulate procedure for conducting surveys. The 75 regulations are divided into 11 Parts: Preliminary; Survey Licence (I); Tests to be conducted by the Board (II); Procedure for surveys (III); Survey marks, boundary beacons, etc. (IV); Triangulation surveys (V); Traverse surveys (VI); Air survey (VII); Field Notes (VIII); Computations (IX); Miscellaneous (X). Licences for private surveyors shall be granted by the Land Surveyors Board (reg. 3). Foreign surveyor firms may obtain a temporary clearance. (Schedule 1: Application for a surveyor's licence (Form 1); Notice of grant of licence to a licensed surveyor (Form 2); Register of licensed surveyors (Form 3); Summons to witness (Form 4); Gazette Notification on grant of surveyor's licence (Form 5); Application for temporary clearance for international surveyor firm (Form 6); Temporary clearance for international firms (Form 7) - Schedule 2: Application for tests to be conducted by the Land Surveyors Board - Schedule 3; forms relative to work by licensed surveyors)
