The Regulations provide for an electronic cadaster to be maintained by the Director of Surveys, to serve as a module of the National Land Information System established in accordance with the Land Act, 2012. The Regulations provide that the Director may issue, through electronic means, a notice, certificate, instrument or document under the Survey Act, certify a map, plan, form, document or extract, amongst others. The Regulation further provides that prospective users who intend to access the electronic cadaster shall sign up with the system, a user may electronically access and download cadastral maps, cadastral plans or other plans on a read only format.
