It concerns in particular survey plans and the conduct of surveys. It also defines the functions of the Ministry responsible for lands for purposes of this Act and establishes the Land Professionals Registration Committee (Survey) and the Samoan Institute of Land Professionals. The Committee shall, among other things, promote and maintain high standards of professional education and conduct among persons engaged in the practice of surveying in Samoa and act as a disciplinary body.
