Abstract No person shall sell or offer for sale any product that is covered by this mandatory Order unless the product complies with its provisions. Article 2 gives definitions of various kinds of sugar and sugar solutions. Products may not be submitted to a blueing process, but products intended for manufacturing may contain colorants in accordance with applicable Regulations. Furthermore article 3 places limits on the content of sulphur dioxide in glucose syrup. Article 4 prescribes standard weights. Article 5 contains rules relative to labelling. Finally, article 6 prescribes methods as defined by Directive 79/796/EC as the methods of analysis applicable to all products covered by this Order.
