Abstract This regulation implements the Sugar Industry Act 1999. It regulates the procedure for granting unallocated hectares (sect. 3), the production of brands of raw sugar (sect. 10), the dispute resolution process (sects. 11-12), the dissolution of cane protection and productivity boards (sect. 13), the establishment of a productivity area (sect. 14) and fees payable under the Act (sect. 17). The regulation is completed by five schedules on: regulation process (horizontal expansion), regulation process (productivity increase), dispute resolution process, and fees.
