Entry into force notes
This Regulation comes into force on January 1, 1998.For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 30 November 2018.
Abstract

The present Regulation implements the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act. This Regulation applies to: a) all persons who produce or market sugar beets, and b) processors of sugar beets within Alberta. A licence by the Board is needed to grow and market sugar beet; related applications have to be addressed containing the items listed in section 4. The text consists of 52 sections divided into 6 Parts.
