The present Regulations enter into force on 6 September 1960.
Abstract

The present Regulations were made under the Mineral Resources Act, 1959 which was repealed, but these Regulations continue in force under the Crown Minerals Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to permits for the mining of subsurface minerals. The text consists of 42 sections divided into 6Parts as follows: Permits (I); Lease (II); General provisions (III); Royalty (IV); Repealed (V); Coming into force and conversion (VI). One Schedule completes the Regulations.
