Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the restraining of animals from running at large. The text – consisting of 34 sections – deals with the following matters: animals running at large, pounds and poundkeepers, restraint and impoundment, fees and penalties, sale of impounded strays, valueless and dangerous trays, liabilities and offences and penalties.
