Abstract

Strategy for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and ensuring national security for the period up to 2020 is a multisectoral policy document, which determines the main mechanisms, methods and means of achieving the strategic goals and priorities of sustainable development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The Strategy is aimed at implementing the sovereignty and national interests of the Russian Federation in the Arctic zone and contributes to the achievement of the main objectives of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the Arctic zone.
