The ESAN II fits into national and international policies and international legislation. National policies emphasize the Agenda 2025, the Five-Year Government Programme, the Action Plan for the Reduction of Absolute Poverty (PARPA II), the National Strategic Plan to Combat HIV/AIDS, and the policies and strategies sectoral and multisectoral. The National Gender Policy advocate greater equality and equity of gender in development interventions and promotes the elevation of the Women's status in the governing bodies and the level of public administration. Thus, the government and society at large They have carried out actions to gradually overcome the existing imbalances at these levels. The Food Security and Nutrition Action Plan (PASAN) covers a time horizon from 2008 to 2015. The PASAN comes with the overall objective of contributing to the planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of actions that contribute paca improving the SAN among vulnerable populations, taking into account the various alimentares8 economies zones existing in the country.
