Abstract

The Strategic Road Map for the national economy that has been approved by the Presidential Decree No. 1138, will be used as a guidance during the preparation of strategic plans, state programs, development concepts, strategies, action plans for the development of financial services. The strategic goals of this guidance are: (I) strengthening the financial institutions, (II) development of financial markets, (III) strengthening of infrastructure, (IV) improvement of regulatory and control mechanisms, and (V) increasing knowledge and skills of stakeholders in the financial market. The financial system will be strengthened through the capitalization and liquidity of the banking system, development of the insurance market, including agricultural insurance, and strengthening financial inclusion. Microfinance services cover segments such as trade, service, industry and agriculture sectors, with a focus on micro and small enterprises and households in urban and rural areas. Investors' access to financial markets will be increased. The legal framework will be revised to strengthen the infrastructure.
