Abstract

The Strategic and Investment Plan to strengthen the animal genetic improvement is a national plan with a multi-sectoral approach. The purpose of this Plan is to make animal husbandry more productive and sustainable, furthermore to promote public health, and to support marketing of both animal and animal products to contribute to the national efforts in poverty reduction, improved food security and increased income.
