Section 1 defines strata title application as an application for the subdivision of land under this Act. This Act sets out provisions on the approval of strata title application; determination of reasonable rent in a strata title application to be reserved for the lease of one or more units; amendment to the development statement by the Department in strata title applications; contents of strata title assessment report and development statement; endorsement of strata plans for registration; registration of subdivision, unit leases and common property leases; strata title easement rights; provisional building damage order; cancellation of strata plans; and the powers of the National Court to make cancellation orders and for dissolution of an owners’ corporation.
