Abstract

This Regulation is composed of 9 articles. Article 2 classifies stone quarries in 4 kinds: cracked stone quarries; building stone quarries; rubble and crushed stone quarries; sand stone quarries. Article 3 prohibits breaking down and transporting stone materials to any place without previously obtaining a licence from the Head of the Natural Resources Authority. Article 4 lists conditions and requirements for the issuance and renew licences. Article 5 defines the validity of the licence. Article 6 deals with obligations of stone quarries' owners. Article 7 specifies stone quarries to be excluded from this Regulation. Article 9 gives the power to the Inspector-General of Mines to apply any article provided for in the Mining Regulation No. 131 of 1966.
