Sections 4 and 5 define presumptions in relation to the above offence. Delivering or accepting delivery of stock between hours of sunset and sunrise shall be forbidden (sect. 6). Tampering or altering marks or brands on stock is forbidden and is considered to be an offence (sect. 7). Acquisition of stock shall take place only at public sales (sect. 10).
