Abstract

This Act regulates the use of hormonal growth promotants in animal production and controls the sale of stock treated with these substances. The Act provides for the appointment of inspectors and defines their powers (Part 2), regulates the taking of samples and their analysis (Part 3) and defines related offences and penalties.
