Abstract

The Act, which consists of 18 articles, establishes the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. The Atomic Energy Organization is founded for use of atomic energy and radiation in agriculture, industries and services, building of nuclear power plant, desalination and relevant research and education. The organization has the exclusive right to produce radioactive in the country and import nuclear fuel. The Organization consists of Atomic Energy Council, Atomic Energy Committee and the Chairman of the Organization.
