Abstract

The Law sets provisions for the establishment and administration of Afghanistan’s Agricultural Development Fund. The Act consists of 31 articles, divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Financial Affairs (II); Structure, Duties, and Authorities (III); Transitional Period (IV); Miscellaneous Provisions (V). The Agricultural Development Funs is created to support agricultural development, increase agricultural productions and provide financial facilities to farmers. The initial asset of the Fund is 100,000,000 USD which is provided by the United States Agency for International Development. The financial and administrative affairs of the Fund will be inspected by national and international inspectors annually.
