These companies shall operate according to the Trade Law and related Regulations disciplining Public companies. The objectives of these companies are: to conduct studies and create sites to supply, transfer and distribute potable drinking water for rural communities; to apply plan directives on water supply and sanitary sewage; to manage and utilize public installations for sanitary sewage plans; to rehabilitate, reconstruct and expand potable water installations and maintain rural sanitary sewage systems; and, to supply potable water in rural networks according to the approved regulations. The Ministers of Jihad–e-Agriculture, Economy and Finance, as well as the Departments of the Plan Budget Organization, and MOJA provincial Director in each province or their Deputies are members of the Companies’ Board. The Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture (MOJA) shall be responsible to budget the aforementioned companies.
