The President shall appoint a Chief Valuer to carry out the valuation of all State lands, of lands managed for or on behalf of the Government, etc. A Commissioner of Lands shall be appointed by the Minister for the general administration of the Act (sect. 2D). Every grant or lease of State land as provided for in the text, shall be in the prescribed form and shall be signed by the Collector of Land Revenue. The President may, where former grants are surrendered, make grants, or amended grants, in fee simple in the cases specified in Part II.
