Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act. In particular, the Regulation establishes the minimum standards for emergency management programs required by municipalities and provincial ministries and supports the requirement in the Act for mandatory emergency management programs. Every Minister shall designate an employee of the Ministry as the ministry’s emergency management program co-ordinator and every Ministry shall have an Eergency Management Program Committee. The text consists of 16 sections divided into 3 Parts as follows: Ministry standards (I); Municipal standards (II); Standards for designated entities (III).
