Abstract

This Act amends the Standards Act so as to establish the Standards Tribunal, to provide for its powers and functions and organization and amends other provisions of the principal Act as a consequence of the establishment of the Tribunal. The Tribunal shall decide on appeals made against decisions of the Bureau or the Council under the principal Act and give an opinion on matters referred to it by the Director for general direction.
