Abstract

No person shall open the cock of any standpipe except for the purpose of filling some receptacle with water therefrom (sect. 2). No person shall at any street, gutter or public standpipe: (a) wash or bathe himself; (b) wash or bathe any animal or thing; (c) clean any fish or fowl; (d) wash or bathe or cause to be washed or bathed any child; and (e) wash any bicycle, motorcycle or motor vehicle (sect. 3). Other prohibitions concern entry upon grounds of a reservoir, drinking from a standpipe directly with the mouth, and dipping of buckets into reservoirs. Other sections deal with repair of pipes, escape of surplus water, inspection, and offences. (8 sections)
