In particular, the Law provides the legal framework for the development and running of a spatial data infrastructure system in Sachsen-Anhalt as part of the national spatial data infrastructure. For the purpose of the present Law, a spatial data infrastructure (SDI) is a framework of spatial data, metadata, users and tools that are interactively connected in order to use spatial data in an efficient and flexible way.
