Abstract

The purpose of this Act, consisting of ten Chapters divided into 140 sections, is to facilitate the restructuring of the water industry in south east Queensland to deliver significant benefits to the community, including: improve water supply coordination and management, deliver improved and more efficient water services and wastewater services to customers, and improve the management of water and wastewater infrastructure.
