Abstract

This Act contains provisions on water and sewerage services and establishes the South Australian Water Corporation and regulates its operation and functioning. The primary functions of the Corporation include the supply of water by means of reticulated systems; the storage, treatment and supply of bulk water; the removal and treatment of wastewater by means of sewerage systems; and carrying out research and works to improve water quality and wastewater disposal and treatment methods.
