Abstract

This Act provides for the management of public plantation forests and establishes and regulates the functioning of the South Australian Forestry Corporation. Functions of the Corporation include to manage plantation forests for commercial production; to encourage and facilitate regionally based economic activities based on forestry and other industries; and to conduct research related to the growing of wood for commercial purposes.
